Hi guys,


Did anyone here get a test form with an unclear/off-ish code? My test code starts with an A, but the second digit/letter was unclear. The Proctor said it was a O (as in the letter), while a lot of testing people in the room thought it was a 0 (as in the number). Anyone else had this issue?


Asked one the the proctor during the exam. They said it did matter. Just wanted to make sure.

Our proctor said it was a 0, and that we should leave the first letter column blank.

We all had the same Q. Ours all seemed to start with A and then ambiguously O or 0, and there was one column that would be left blank regardless. My proctor said it was an O, so to fill out AO and then the numbers leaving the last column blank. I have no idea. I wasn't convinced, but I'm hoping that LSAC expects this given the ambiguity.

I was almost certain that it was a 0, but my proctor said it was an O. I'm gonna be pissedoffish if i gota wait extra for my score .

Yup, same here.

the score sheet had room for 2 letter and something like 7 or 8 numbers. If your code fit the space given in the answer sheet exactly then it was probably an O, if it was shorter than the space provided, it was probably a zero. I had a code that were shorter than the space given.

Was certainly a 0, because if the other (2nd) 0 was 0 and the 1st 0 was the exact same as the 2nd (which it was), then hence the 1st must also be a 0.

Oy vey. How long is the wait if they delay? And how would they know which sections (in terms of order) the test taker got?


You would think they would put a slash inside the symbol to distinguish a zero between a O (as in the letter). Good job LSAC. Oh well, guess I'll wait 3+ weeks now.

I told my proctor it was defintely a zero and she said, "well everyone in this room will have "oh" so you'll be OK."

Awesome, huh. She wouldnt let me turn it in with a zero. Im sure my score will be delayed.

If the sample at TLS is accurate, that makes about 90% of us with delayed scores. I'm really hoping LSAC factored this BS in.

Anyway. Time for me to peace out. No point in stressing out about this now. Hope everyone had a good exam!!!

My room did it as a Zero leaving the first line empty.

Proctor said either was fine.

Huge typography nerd here, definitely a zero. We had the same confusion at my testing site but some forms supposedly had two letters at the beginning?

Was clearly a 0, my proctor read off something from LSAC at the break that said to leave the first column blank, and gave us time to correct it if we originally filled it incorrectly.

Zero. Proctors in my room were on the ball with this.

Lol at how many scores will be delayed due to proctors messing up. We initially had it as an "O" but were told to change it to 0.

Had the same problem but we bubbled in AO and had one space at the end blank. Wayyyyy past the point of caring though...smh...

Our proctors called LSAC about this, and they told them to have us leave the first letter column blank and that it was in fact a zero.

Our proctor had us do something that made absolutely zero sense. She wanted us to bubble in the first A, skip the second Alpha space, then bubble in all the other numbers. I said screw that in bubbled in the second A then all the numbers, but the girl next to me marked the first 0 as an O and left a space at the end.

I think it would help if Proctors were required to have taken, or at least simulate taking, the actual LSAT. Some of the stories I've heard on here about proctors is horrible...

My proctor said leave first column blank then start with A and the next one was a zero not an O.
