This thread reminds me of a poster that got a misconduct notice because he started on the writing section early thinking the proctor had told him to start working. Definitely one of the worst ways to get such a notice.

I remember being a little worried about not putting enough of a serious effort into the writing section, I wrote about 90 words in total. At least none of them involved a pun on the name Wang. lol

I actually did well in this. Probably my best section of the day.

I wrote for 7 minutes.

I almost felt a little badly when I was glancing around seeing everybody furiously writing, clearly at least 75% of the way through the backside of their sheet.

Due to hand cramping I had to write pretty much continuously for about 15-20 minutes, but only filled the first page of the response area. And to be honest that could probably have been trimmed back.

I should have brought fucking pencil cushions. Damn this tendonitis.

TCR was just to string together every polysyllabic word in your vocabulary and call it a day.

well, I didn't draw penises (even though my prompt involved the Wang family), but I only wrote for between five and ten minutes and then put my head down. It didn't affect me at all.

After reading all the stuff people write here, I was expecting the people at my test to treat the writing section like a joke, but everyone wrote for at least 20 minutes - I seemed to be the first one done in my part of the room, and I wrote to halfway down the second page.

I actually took writing seriously this time around, and still finished in less than 15 minutes. I then took my first ever LSAT bathroom break. Then came back and wished there was some type of LSAT time bank where I could take all the time I didn't use on writing to go back and figure out what those damn cops from that damn police department were up to...

I wrote for ~20 (I think). Did everyone's proctor tell them to scratch out what you had written when you wanted to make a change rather than erase? Seemed stupid...

Agreed. Those were some shady cops. I would have loved to have extra time to decipher that one. As soon as I saw that the answer choices took up the entire side of the page, I left it till the end. Shady shady cops...That recognition is a crock.

Mine did. I actually erased a "y" that I felt like took up too much of the next line below it, but I'm hoping that in 2011 LSAC scanners are technologically advanced enough to not malfunction due to CM of erasure..time will tell.

How many prompts do they have for each LSAT? Mine was about a newspaper.

I got the newspaper also. That prompt sucked. I had to think fairly hard just to find some relevant to say - I never had that problem on PTs. The cops sound much better.

Freelancing all the way. More diverse and innovative writing = Better, at least according to RC passages.
