Cancel or Keep Score?

I wrote today's exam, and feel like I crapped out because of the RC. On the prep tests I was scoring between 169 and 175 (including the most recent ones), and I did around 25-30 tests altogether. I was shooting for at least a 172, as my goal is HYS, but because I bombed today's RC (guessed on a ton) I'm feeling like even a 170 would be a godsend. Most likely it'll be between 165 and 170, but should I just cancel the score and rewrite in October? My GPA is a 4.2 and my softs are quite good, but I want to get into my dream school, so I don't wanna be rejected just cause of my unwillingness to take the test again.

I'm guessing you are an URM from your screen name? ....Anyhow that's not the point.....How many passages did you get through and how many did you have to guess on?

I'm not URM :( I'm Indian, I wish I was URM.

I answered every question, but with a lot of guessing. I didn't straight up guess on any, but for some reason I was way slower than my timed PTs and had to just look at the passage and quickly eliminate answers and make a poor guess. I typically got 2-5 wrong on PTs, so here I'm guessing I did quite bad. The thread on today's RC indicates a lot of people found it to be hell.

if you're certain that you bombed (we usually tend to think the worst...), then cancel and take it again if you're confident that you can get ~172

Well I'm no longer confident :P
But is it worth it to cancel, or should I just wait and see?

I would say just retake.. But HYS look down on multiple tests being taken... So I'd say cancel.

Do they not look down upon cancelling?

The RC killed me too. I got an exp. RC. I think if you cancel it, the law school probably won't even see the record that you have taken it. Plus, you have plenty of excuses on why cancel it.

A cancellation appears on your LSAC report.
