I had a really crappy logic games guide that I believe was published by McGraw Hill. "None of the Above" was one of the answer choices for all the questions and the few I did had all kinds of errors in them. It was a steaming pile of mastodon dung. I wouldn't try to scale anything from there to determine what you are going to do on a real test. Take a real test.

Do NOT USE McGraw/Hill. They are not real questions and there are a ton of mistakes.

needfinaid wrote:So I borrowed a McGraw-Hill book from the library because it had a lot of practices tests. The diagnostic I took was the first LSAT I've taken. I got 85/101, which, according to its tables, translates to a 169, with a disclaimer about possible variation on a real exam (lol).

I got 24/26 of the logic games, and I thought they would give me the most trouble. If I can do that on my first try, then maybe McGraw-Hill's tests are way easier than the real thing?

Anyone have experience with McGraw-Hill? I probably won't be using practice books as my only preparation lol, but I was just wondering whether McGraw-Hill's tests aren't totally off.
Not sure if anything can be made out of McGraw-Hill's diagnostic. I scored a 179 :)....though I was already studying the bibles for 3-4 weeks. I found the questions too simple and I am sure the real test is much harder.

Read this recent review. I couldn't have described their LSAT prep books better or in a funnier way.
