Hey everyone.

How representative is a score from 1998? I've heard that the scoring was "easier" before 2000. Meaning, you got a higher score with less answers answered correctly? Is this true? If I scored a 165 on a test from 1998, is that representative of what I should make on the June 2011 exam?

I'd say not very representative. Do your best to obtain and practice with 2007+ tests, they are a far better gauge of the recent tests. Good luck!

The LSAT has changed since the mid 2000s. Reading comp got harder -- passages are denser and the question types are more difficult (a lot more inference questions). Games got slightly easier though with more emphasis on linear and grouping. Overall, the LSATs numbered 50 and higher are at least slightly more difficult that the other ones.
