PT 57. Section 3 Q 24

I was going over and over this question and I still didn't understand how D was correct. I went to the Manhattan LSAT forum and someone had the same question. "Why is C wrong?" Why D? And the answer was that C was the correct answer.
My answer sheet says D (I'm using the last 10 book).
I used TLS search function and found this thread
http://www.top-law-schools.com/archives ... =6&t=86897

(Matches my answer key for Section 1)DBCDCBBEDC BBDAEABCDE BDE
(Matches my answer key for Section 2)AADDECAECB CDCEABEDCD EABECB
(Matches my answer key for Section 4)AADCEECDBD CBECCAEEBB CDDEAED
(Matches my answer key for Section 3 except for #24)ACABAACCDC AEDDCCDBDE BBCCE
But 24 is C and not D.
Is this possible or is D the correct answer?
If it is in fact D. Can anyone explain what is wrong with C?
Thank you all!

Yeah see my edit, C is right, I don't know why some of the answer keys say (d). I was confused when I checked it too.

Thank you for your help! The new Actual 10 book has a mistake in the answer key. Weird

Good to know! This improved my score by a point. PT 57 and I did not get along...this alleviates my hatred somewhat.

I had the worst LR in a while. -11 total. RC was about the same I've been getting lately -5 and -3 in LG. I had no space to diagram the last game and I had 6 minutes left to do it so I pretty much had to eliminate/guess on the last 4. I somehow omitted the "No more than six grants awarded" rule. I got lucky I only missed 3. Raw 82 scaled 164. Now 165 because I have an extra right one LOL!
Good luck!

Whoa we had almost the exact same score - I had a 163 bumped to 164. Only I had -14 (now -13, still worst ever) in LR and -4 in RC. Same -3 in games...fucking mauve dinosaurs. I panicked when I saw the setup because I knew what awaited me.

I was anticipating the mauve dinosaurs. I was excited to finally see it and mad that my missed questions went to the last game and not the dinosaurs.
Still upset about a -11 in LR. That's just ridiculous.
Hopefully the next PT will be an improvement to boost my confidence....less that two weeks! We can do this!

I'm really happy I saw this thread, I wrote PT 57 yesterday and had C marked incorrect (as the key in 10 New Actual, Official LSATs said it was). Spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how it was wrong and wasn't making any progress. Thanks!
