When faced with rule equivalency questions, I usually go back through my hypotheticals (usually 3-4) and see that those rules in the answer choices would violate themselves in those scenarios. And one answer choice does not, and that is the one I pick.
Am I missing something here or isn't that the easiest way to do it?

It's a good method, but frequently will leave more than one answer choice.
