This sounds really basic but..is reading slow and carefully on the LR section one of the most important concepts to remember?

I would say read carefully yes.... But not too slowly, because you have a 35-minute time limit.

Getting timing down and reading carefully are important. I wouldn't say slowly.

as earlier posters recommended, carefully.

as for how slow. this can vary. maybe you can read even more carefully for questions 15-26.

Also, make a point of re-reading questions you got wrong during review and try to remember how you originally read them. I've had a few students who had a huge revelation when they realized that 'causal' and 'casual' weren't the same word, or that their brains, for whatever reason, were skipping 'no' and 'not' when they were in a rush. If you can diagnose which words your brain stumbles on/skips, you can get in the habit of looking for those words.
