Top Law Schools

So, obviously it is my decision and I am the one who will have to make it, but I wanted some of your insights if you were in my position and some relevant advice.

I have 18 months to 2 whole years till I graduate, yet I already have 110 credits out of the 120 needed to graduate. I decided to hardcore study for the LSAT at the end of January so I could possibly take it this June, do well, and lay to rest all of the uncertainty that surrounds a pre-law undergrad without an LSAT score. I will be entering Law School in the Fall of 2013.

So, I have scored a 170 twice. I have taken around 16 practice tests but have exposed myself to basically every LSAT problem in the pre-40 PT's. I still have a good 15 tests left to take that are post PT 39.

My range the past 5 tests has been 166-170, (166, 168, 169, 170, 170). I just took PT 57 and scored a 170.

So my dilemma is this: Should I stay or should I go? Should I hunker down and just go for it this June and put this test to rest regardless of where I am scoring or should I just wait till October, next June or even next October?

I have put in a crap load of time already...to be honest I am getting sick of this test, so that is why I am inclined to just take it and be done.

Oh, and I am already signed up for this June test and my G.P.A is a 3.72 LSAC.

I would take the test now in June- and if you dont like it retake it in October. With all of the prep that youve done allready- it would be a shame not to take it, and have to re do it all again. As far as graduating- I would try to graduate next spring ( spring 2012) and start either in fall 2012 or 2013 if you want to take some time off. Email professors to get your LORS rolling- if you havent done so allready, and use the time from after the test to when you get the score to work on your personal statement.If you end up re taking then you can focus on your weak areas and go from there in the early part of the school year. If not- then start researching schools to apply to ( if you want to go straight through) and write those extra essays if possible.

Whatever you decide- make sure that you keep your grades up as much as possible and find time to enjoy college. If you are done early- try to find an internship or part time job in a law firm to get a glimpse of what the work is like and if you like the work. You only need one more semester, so you can graduate in December and work/ volunteer if you want.

EDIT: I just saw that you were going to apply for fall 2013. Still take the test now and work on getting great relationships with professors and have them write good lors for you.
