A does not resolve the paradox because there is no indication that 25 year olds are more likely to purchase a product than someone older. However D resolves the paradox because it would make sense companies would not advertise to people whose opinions on a product will not change due to advertising.

Edit: Also, A would assume that the older people would not buy "their product", for all we know, these people are already buying the product. A is not a more vague version of D. D indicates the behavior of people, A does not.
