Taking old tests

How helpful/effective is this? I feel like I remember some of the answers, but others I completely forget. Even if I have already seen a reading comp passage, and retake, I still can't get a perfect score. Always -6/-7 on every section regardless of having seen it before/being completely new to me. Any suggestions? Should I keep retaking old tests, or is it pointless?

only if you have already taken all of the other ones, especially the more recent tests. I'd also only do it if it's been about three months since the last time you took them

I'm retaking some I took around 2 months ago, and I'm getting anywhere between a 169-173. Don't know why I can't get a 180 if I've seen the problems before? Especially for RC..I still miss the same number of questions..
