I don't know if it's just because Blue Print is so entertaining and they make it fun, or if studying for the test is just fun in general, but I actually enjoy it which I didn't think I would...

...anyone else have the good fortune of enjoying studying for the LSAT?

I enjoyed it. If you're lucky enough to have that attitude, I think your ceiling is a lot higher.

Is it just me or have there been like there of these threads in the last week...

I did for my first two takes, and for about the first 45 PTs I took. After that, it became an unbelievable drag, and I think I missed a few questions in Feb based on nothing but burnout.

I would if it wasnt for work and school competing with study time. However of the three lsat prep is easily the most enjoyable.

I loved lt. (<--- logic geek here). I only hope being a lawyer is half as entertaining.

I love games. I hate LR, because I hardly get things right.

The logic games are actually fun to me, like a crossword or jumble puzzle. For LR and RC, most my enjoyment comes in getting the answers right.

I thought it was entertaining enough. It does seem that a lot of the high scorers are those who at least somehow enjoy the studying, and it makes sense that there's at least some sort of association.

If I'm not tired, I quite honestly enjoy it so much I often have to force myself to stop. I start to gain less after about two hours of straight studying, so I usually make myself stop then to avoid wasting PTs. It helps that I've been making great progress with my LG times recently, though.

I have a VERY stressful day job (I teach 6th grade at a public school in the inner city) and I find that after my afternoon nap, the highlight of my day is 2-3 hours of LSAT each evening. Unlike my job which is combative, and anti-intellectuial (FWIW students are great, it's everything else that is a drag), I really enjoy the mental stimulation of the LSAT. When I take the test in October, I expect to do pretty well because of the fact that I DO enjoy it so much. Every couple of days I find myself thinking, "Isn't THAT cool; the writers are some clever people."

I used to teach middle and high school but gave it up and now teach LSAT courses. It ends up I do much more actual teaching as an LSAT instructor than as a public school teacher. It's too bad we run public schools like minimum security prisons and do everything we can to squash critical thinking because it's inconvenient for smooth administration of classes. Seems like a huge chunk of the smartest teachers leave the profession within 5 or so years. What's left are idealists and the lazy.

Could not agree more. Funny, after the LSAT I will probably teach courses during the time between October's administration and starting school in August.

I really enjoyed it, and am actually a bit sad I don't study for it anymore. I think if you're someone who likes a new challenge and likes to problem solve it can be a very enjoyable way to spend some time.

and the lazy ones make the most money and are more likely to keep their jobs over a newer teacher because they have been there for a lot longer. such a shame. I actually miss the LSAT and studying for it.

The LSATs are pretty fun to study for since I like poking holes in arguments (the hardest part of the LR section was trying to decipher what the answer choices actually mean since they can be written in a really confusing way) and the puzzle aspect of the LG section. Also, I don't think I've peaked yet, so part of the enjoyment comes from the knowledge that I'm improving. For example, I've always struggled with In/out games with only conditionals (probably why I didn't do so well on the Feb test), but I actually just found a technique on the Manhattan LSAT site that seems to be better than what I'm using, so I'm actually excited about giving that a shot as soon as I go home today.

FWIW I've also taken the GRE's, and studying for that was a total drag...
