I think it was SNL who did a skit about the various spellings back when he was in the news the first time around...even the major networks and newspapers were not in concurrence about the 'correct' spelling.

Might have been in the Tim Kazurinski years.

Considering the many years he managed to stay in power despite batshit craziness, I'd have to guess that It'll take at least a few more weeks for the protesters to overtake the country.

Arguing about which English spelling of an Arabic name is sort of like the debate a couple years ago about how to spell Medvedev--they're all wrong, but each is acceptable.

Anyone ever seen the Brian Regan bit where he's reading a confirmation code back to a customer service rep, and is struggling to come up with the words for the letters. This thread reminded me of it.

This doesn't make any sense. Brian Regan isn't funny, but this joke is really funny. Something doesn't add up.
