testmasters v blueprint?
Hi,
I've heard so many good things about testmasters, but does anyone know anything about blueprint? Is it perhaps better than testmasters?
Thanks,
Margie

Don't know a thing about testmasters, but I took blueprint online and loved it. Pretty happy with my score too. The online version is cheaper and you can do it on your own time. I felt very prepared for the test and got the exact same score I had been getting on my practice tests.

pretty sure that blueprint has the highest average score increase and the lowest cost, go with bp... and do the live class if you can, its definitely worth it

I visited both the TM office & Blueprint office - blueprint is operated out of a shack. no joke or exaggeration.
Ended up taking the TM course, raised my score close to 15 points.

Spoke with admins @ both companies. Both of them say their avg score increases = 10 pts.

Margaret, TM has been around for longer than BP - apparently BP's founder was a TM instructor & ran off to create his own company. The head of TM is apparently a genius btw - something along the lines of 15? perfect LSAT scores.
I took the TM course, and it was fantastic so I'll obv recommend it. I've heard similar stories - my close friend of mine improved from sub150 to 180.
I think the general consensus is to take the TM if you have $$ OR buy Powerscore books to self-study. Also, make sure you take testmasters.net and not testmasters.com - the latter is supposed to be a scam or something

I know very little about Testmasters, but I used the Blueprint movie course to study for the Feb 2011 LSAT. The volume of work and quality of the materials/explanations/advice/tips left me pretty well-prepared and confident for test day. As for the final result, currently going through the excruciating process of waiting for my score. Update soon.margaretnyc wrote:Hi,

Edit: I should also mention that I used the PS bibles (LR, LG, RC) to study for the Oct 2010 LSAT, which I bombed and canceled. The bibles were helpful, but I found Blueprint's methods more straightforward.

agreed. i actually found the bibles useless after a BP live course.phoonie wrote:I know very little about Testmasters, but I used the Blueprint movie course to study for the Feb 2011 LSAT.
