Right as I typed that I got my score. Did a lot better than December (not as good as you TLSers, but good in my my book)! Would have liked 2 more points, but I'm hopeful! Here come some applications!

168.
Got a 165 in Dec.
I know that it's not a "bad" score, but I have a low undergrad GPA and needed to compensate to have a shot at UCLA & USC. I was averaging 174 on my last 15 practice tests, so I'm really surprised that I ended up with a 168. Haven't scored below 170 since the December test.... But I know it had to be the RC. I finished undergrad 8 years ago, so my reading & retention skills have certainly deteriorated more than can be offset by 9 weeks of LSAT studying.
Anyways, congrats to those of you who are happy with your scores.
I'm gonna watch 30 Rock on Netflix to make myself feel better.

I'm in shock because I thought I bombed this test (didn't finish one section).

167. Predicted 168, was hoping for 170. Still way above target school's 75th (family/geographical considerations) but my perfectionistic streak makes me wonder whether to retake.

Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
Actually, Oberlin is the one closest to where I live, so that was always the one I would have gone with, but I always signed up last minute, so it was usually full. Went with Akron the first time and hated it, so went with Kent the next time, and this last time, Oberlin was still open so I finally got it. If anyone is in Ohio and cares, I would actually say Kent is best. Just don't do the October one because there was a parade right outside our room and it was distracting for some people (I aced all the sections during the parade and then went -6 on games, so I guess I can't complain about this). Oberlin was good too, but there were only about 35 of us, so we were all in a largeish room together, whereas at Kent, everyone was in tiny rooms of 10-12 people.Nulli Secundus wrote:Congratz, taking each administration in a different test center is interesting though, you doing that for luck or something?

Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
Acadec, if you're not applying til next cycle, I really see no reason not to retake. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to wait another year now that I got this 176 or just convince WUSTL to throw more money at me and maybe get off Michigan's waitlist, but I'm pretty sure that if I were applying next year, the 176 would give me significantly better results than I had with a 172. Then again, I'm a splitter, so if you're not, it might not matter since you're at or above every schools median already anyway.

170
I was getting 172 on average my last 10 PTs
I'm a junior in UG and my GPA is 3.85. Should I retake in June?
