I find myself having to create numerous hypotheticals in order to eliminate each answer choice in LG, which has contributed to a slowww LG speed. Advice?

LG requires frontloading. You're probably not spending enough time on your set ups and not making key deductions that eliminate the need for hypos.

Try sitting through a few games without going to the questions until you've racked your brains of every possibly deduction you can think of. Then, try to check it with a set up guide that shows you all the deductions you should have made. If you're missing any key deductions you need to evaluate why you missed that deduction and how you can avoid doing so in future games.

a few tips
- don't always start with answer choice A. for example, the question is about something that must be or cannot be true, start with an answer choice involving a highly restricted variable
- know the rules better and make more deductions; not much more to say about that

what kind of games do you mean in particular?

Do you go over the games after you've done them? This is hugely important. It's easy to just say "oh well" and chalk that game up to a loss, but you have to figure out exactly what you did wrong. You should go back through your setup, and then every individual question. A lot of times this can take longer than doing the game the first time through did, and it's sort of tedious, but you have to do it. If you don't figure out exactly what your mistakes were, you won't be able to learn from them.

And yeah, as bhan87 said, you very well might not be spending enough time in the beginning building your setup, making deductions, and doing scenarios, if they're called for.
