Has anyone ever thought of retaking the LSAT during their first year of law school in order to boost their transfer application chances? Just curious.

If you're thinking about transferring, I believe they put the most emphasis on your LS grades. If you're thinking about re-taking the LSAT why not wait a year, re-take, and reapply to the school where you really want to be?bballfreak56 wrote:Has anyone ever thought of retaking the LSAT during their first year of law school in order to boost their transfer application chances? I don't think schools care about your LSAT for transfer purposes. Not reported/they already know if you are good at law school or not.bballfreak56 wrote:Has anyone ever thought of retaking the LSAT during their first year of law school in order to boost their transfer application chances? Most likely zero people consider this while being a 1L since LSAT score is not a factor in LS transfer applications. Instead, your 1L grades, especially for first semester are what matters. Transferring into a T1 or T2 law school from a lower tier is pretty hard to do and few people pull it off each year.bballfreak56 wrote:Has anyone ever thought of retaking the LSAT during their first year of law school in order to boost their transfer application chances?
