I was just wondering is it actually possible to use conditional statements on almost all logical reasoning questions? Because it seems like many of them you can.

I'm hijacking this thread, though it is somewhat related

It has to do with whether or not the following are all logically equivalent phrases:

If dogs like cats
All dogs like cats
[because] dogs like cats

Only ask because, it seems helpful in translating informal logic into formal components.

There are lots of questions where any conditional aspect is trivial. Frequently the most important aspect of a question is a causal relationship, or identifying a reasoning pattern or fallacy. Focusing on diagramming such questions will generally just slow you down.

For example, these two sentences are not logically identical:

If X, then Y. (conditional relationship)

X causes Y. (causal relationship)
