160 Dec. LSAT after only two practice tests. Re-take?
Subject line says it all. I sat for the December LSAT and scored 160. I had taken only two timed LSAT's before then and read through two prep books during the three weeks leading up to the test. Should I re-take? If so, what should my plan of action be?
Helpful considerations much appreciated.
Thanks,

Retake, you basically took it cold. Figure out what parts you were weak at and focus on that.

hell yes you should retake it. like was previously stated, focus on your weak points and you will perform better. further, if you were planning on applying this cycle, your apps will be relatively late and you may not get into/get money from schools you would have if you had applied in october. my advice is that you retake in june, not february. february test is non disclosed, and the june test is the only one offered at noon, rather than eight. if you are like me, the extra sleep is crucial.

160 cold is pretty damned good on a modern test, especially if you tanked games.
If you missed most of the games, like most people new to the LSAT, I think you could easily make that 160 a 170 after a few months of studying. There's not much difference between a 150 and a 160, but the 160-170 gap is HUGE. Definitely bridge it if you can.

Definitely retake. Follow PithyPike's study guide (stickied in LSAT sub-forum) for preparation.

dude, you've got troll written all over you (sorry if you're not, but I've seen a troll that looked just like this at least once on here)...
YES- two practices is nothing for LSAT.. You should be able to improve to at least 170 with serious study after that as a basically cold baseline.

Allow me to be the dissenting voice in this thread. No, don't bother retaking it, most people don't improve their scores and you've probably maxed out your potential after 2 PTs anyway.
Plan of action: Do nothing.
