Addendum for a lower score on a retake

Unfortunately my LSAT score dropped on my retake. I went from the low 160's to the mid-150's. Many of my applications specifically ask for an addendum explaining such a disparity.
However, I find myself at a bit of a loss at what to say. I retook because I had underpreformed. Leading up to the test my practice tests were 3-4 points higher than my first LSAT score. I was a little sick during the retake and missed three days of work the following week as well as being in the midst of finals. I did not cancel because I felt reasonably good that I had bettered my score.
The above do not seem to be addendum worthy excuses in my mind, but apparently I need to give some explanation for the disparity. Any thoughts?
