LSAT QUESTION

Do you think this forum is representative of all LSAT test takers? In other words, will only a small percentage of us exceed a score of 165? Does anyone here believe they scored less than 150? I'm curious to know whether those who expect a low score would be waiting impatiently (like us) for their score to arrive.

No, TLS is predominantly above the 50 percentile I feel. Even maybe predominantly above 70 percentile.

Definitely not representative. I'd say a pretty good chunk of TLSers (or at least the ones that bother posting) will exceed 165, whereas I think overall less than 10% of all test takers will do so.
From what I've seen, it seems that most of those with scores on the lower end (below 150 or so) often do not even know that scores are likely to come out today. It's the crazy overachievers that go to the trouble of calculating probable release dates and times...

I suspect that the people who are most vocal in the forums are not typical. Whether or not the typical demographic would be reflected if all lurkers were factored in is a different question with a potentially different answer.

TLS posters are not at all representative of law school applicants.

I would say the average TLS poster is at 156 average.... Many people are coming here for advice and help. But the real 'powerusers' are those who strive for the top percentiles.

TLS people like to pretend they all score 180s. most of them score much lower and come on here to make themselves feel like big people.
On the other hand, i frequently practice test in the 185-190 range, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Indeed, joining TLS will automatically get you over 150 if you use it for 6 months prior to the test everyday.

Sounds like a parallel flaw question.
Edit: Also, just noticed that OP has possibly the lamest username in TLS history.

scoring below a 165 on TLS is blasphemy.....some users spring to mind...
