I hope scores aren't posted till January 10th. These past 2 weeks have been the most reckless, enjoyable weeks I've had in the past 5 months. Please delay scores LSAC, my new years depends on this.
Best case scenario: good score, start apps.
Worst case scenario: terrible score, start prep.

Are scores supposed to be released this Friday (NYE...)? Or Monday? Or sometime else?

I'm betting on the scores being released this Thursday. I've prepared myself for the worst already, just want to know my score so I can have an idea of what kind of school I can expect to get into.

LSAC has impeccable timing... October - right before Halloween. December - right before New Years. Hope everyone's NYEs are enhanced by knowing the scores.

I bet you ignorance won't be so bliss once they announce a -9 curve.

Don't worry, I gave up hoping for a rational curve once I saw PT 57 had a -11 curve, it definitely deserved a more lenient curve.

Everyone that keeps predicting a release date before the new year is going to be disappointed. The reason it came out that early in the past is because the test was given a week earlier.

Haha well my file is on hold, and I can't send LSAC whatever they want signed, because I'm on vacation in Miami.... Guess I'm not getting my score until March?

Your worst and best case scenarios are very similar to mine, except I have already completed all my apps, just waiting for my score

Though the few days until we're in the New Year won't make a huge difference at this point and I'm not necessarily advocating that you jump right in today, the phrase "start apps" at this late date in the admissions cycle struck fear in my heart. Though you might do some fine-tuning of your school list and possibly consider a supplemental statement after the scores come in, there's no reason not to be working on apps while you're waiting. In fact, when you're waiting for December test scores, it's best to have absolutely everything that can be completed without scores done before you receive them so you can fill in the remaining pieces and get those apps out the door.

lakers3peat,
I have the same attitude towards this. I have not checked the LSAC site one time for the scores and I have been out every night this week. I spent 8 months not going out whatsoever to study for the October LSAT, then I wasn't satisfied with my 165 so I spent another month prepping for the December LSAT and I am frankly sick of everything to do with the LSAT and I am trying to enjoy my holidays.

Of course (sadly) not

. But I go back to my mailbox on the 6th, which is probably after everyone gets their scores.... Then I have to send the stuff, wait for LSAC to receive it, wait for them to score my test....
