Welp, just got my ass kicked on PT 61, that was fun. I was doing really well on my PTs before December,so maybe this is actually a good sign lol

Oh man, starting to feel sick - I hope it is not this killer flu that has been going around.

There are several LR questions on PT 58 that are tricky as hell. Got to watch out for scope shifts!

I agree. Though tricky, its an excellent PT to review and study from for LR (especially if this is your weakness). After taking and reviewing that PT, I'm scoring a few points higher on each section. Tomorrow I will be reviewing 54,57,58,59 LR, and reviewing with the PowerScore LR Bible. Also doing a few games and few passages to keep me fresh. My last PT will be Thursday. I'm hoping tomorrow's review will get me those few extra points. Soooo close. If not I'll be satisfied with my consistent score, but more is better!

I've started to take my PTs in public places and my scores are dropping by an average of 3 or 4 points...I'm beginning to get worried. If my PT at the library tomorrow doesn't show a marked improvement I'll be tempted to take one again on Friday, even though most recommend taking the last day off.

What's the point of taking PT's this late in the game at a noisy place? Unless you chose an awful test center, it will be relatively quiet aside from the few usual coughs and sneezes. Just chill and take your next PT at home if you must. I would definitely advise against taking a test on Friday because you will get burnt out for sure.

177 on 48. -0 on RC, which was surprising, but -3 total on LR, which was even more surprising. Plus a really rough curve (-8). That'll probably be the last one I do before the test, which means a lot more screwing around on here. Yay?

Have any of you tried to do some "warming up" before tests? This basically means doing 1 LG section, 1 RC section and like 10 questions of LR before taking a PT. I am trying to figure out if this would be good to do before the real LSAT. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Holy shit, it's so close. I'm going to prep all day tomorrow on my weak spots on LR and I think I might be golden. I really do think it's possible to jump a couple points in raw scores even now, so hell, even if I go up 1-2 points in scaled I'll be happy as hell.

Has anyone decided on their post test celebrations? I might go to the gym. I've eaten like hell the past few weeks and managed to down a pack of Swedish Fish tonight.

I dunno....every time I do five sections I'm so intellectually burnt by the end, I can hardly focus. I can't imagine adding more to that. But if your endurance is better than mine, I can see that being a good way to get ready.

That sounds like way too much to do as a warm up. I think maybe one or two games, one or two passages and like 5 questions. Not full sections.

this thread has 666 posts and i have to break the bad luck...

PT54 today.

93 raw, 172 scaled

LR1: -2
LR2: -3
RC: -3
LG: -0

when i saw cakewalk and groupthink i freaked cause i've read so much about them. -2 on cakewalk and -1 on groupthink, not as bad as i was worried it could be.

from PT55 - 60, are any of them not so brutal? i don't want to lower my confidence the day before the LSAT, and i'd rather take an easier one as a confidence booster

I got my highest score on PT56 (a 176). I think it had the easiest games section of any PT I've seen and the LR was pretty straight-forward as well. I kind of wish I hadn't taken it last week so that I could take it again and feel all crazy-confident about my chances on Saturday.

I liked 55, there are at least a few people who say 58's LR was tricky, so I suppose I'd avoid that one

Woops...I meant 1 logic game, 1 RC passage and 1st 10 LR questions of 1 section. Haha, 1 whole LG section and RC section before a test would be ridiculous. Any of you plan to do a similar warm up before Saturday's LSAT?

On a side note, there is some damn airshow in San Diego very close to my testing center. They say that they plan to have as many planes in the air as they did during WWII. Awesome! LOL. It starts at 1, so hopefully we will be at the writing section by then and don't have to worry about the noise. Even if there are jets flying overhead earlier, I will know what's going on. Others in the testing center might freak out thinking we're getting bombed by North Korea.

by the bay. Right next to the airport. I am testing at Cal Western. The test should be over before the show starts as long as you have good proctors. I doubt there's going to be any planes doing trial runs before the show starts or at least that's what I am hoping.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
