Totally against the rules. You're being far too detailed.I hope none of this is against the rules I'm being vague...

Sounds like a normal performance. Definitely no reason to cancel.

Still way too detailed. I had two posts modded today because I referenced that in a specific game I treated the "base" variables as fixed. In the post I mentioned the name of the game and type of variable. You're way past that and listing an actual answer choice is a definite no-no. I'd edit the shit out of that.Lolek wrote:Edited.Nonok wrote:Totally against the rules. You're being far too detailed.I hope none of this is against the rules I'm being vague...

You need to remove the detailed reference to specific questions on stained glass.
That said, it doesn't sound like you should cancel. At worst you will match your current score. You said you finished all the sections. As long as you felt you were prepared, and you didn't specifically blow a section (like having to blind guess an entire game when you usually finish all four, or blind guessing 5+ on LR), then you are probably fine. Instinct is actually very useful on this test once you have 20+ PTs under your belt.

Now that I can address the substance of your post, I experienced that same sort of inability to process the first several questions and was worried about the same thing during the October test. Turns out I still got those questions right, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. You're probably fine.
The one thing I'll say is that I had a total meltdown on LG on the October test and was in such a panic I didn't even bubble 3 of the answer choices. I actually wound up doing worse on this section than I even thought I could and scored -14, which was as terribly as I had ever scored. That said, I didn't feel good about any of the games I did manage to complete, so it sounds like a much different situation than the one you described.

Re: I'm so in the middle I don't know what to do...Dec. 11 test
i wont be of much help, but i'm curious about an answer to this post because im in almost the exact same situation, except that i had to rush/guess on the last 4-5 in the first LR section (LG i was able to finish in time, but obviously i have no idea how it went after looking at these boards, and i thought LG went fine in oct and went -7; one of my worst scores in months). what is general advice for this basic situation (everywhere felt 'fine', but on one section you had to make quick guesses to finish)?

I feel you agora, it's a pain in the ass being right in the middle.
I'm feeling more and more like I should keep my score, but I'm banking on the -14 curve.
Is this unwarranted optimism?

ugh. just decided to for sure keep my score. i feel as though i may regret it, but i already told schools to hold my apps for the score etc etc and who ever really knows. just hoping i didnt dip below my last score...but ive decided that if i did it is NOT the end of the world and life will go on and i will be just fine. that goes for everyone else who took dec as well.
