102...Ideas on where they could pull one to make it 101

I'm thinking RC. I feel pretty confident (read as hopeful) that one of the horrid Fiber questions on tooth decay was flawed and could get pulled. Anyone else?

There was a tooth decay question that didn't seem to work but it wasn't one of the ones you're referring to.

All of the tooth decay questions had a correct answer.

The one you guys are thinking of was an implied answer. They're not throwing one out from that passage.

I wouldn't object to one being tossed from RC, but there is no way they made the test with the intent to throwing one out.

I would bet my money on the lichen analogous question. The tooth decay Qs all seemed to work if you didn't miss really subtle details.

I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of a different one from the TC, but what you're saying applies to what I'm thinking of.
The phrasing was quite odd though...

I know which one you're talking about, I picked the best answer out of the 5 but wasn't 100% confident.

Same... it was pretty much choose the least shitiest answer for me.

Doubt it. There was one clear answer (for me at least)

I've never seen an RC question pulled, or an LG question. If any questions are being pulled, its from the LR section.

Really? This question was the bane of my existence. I spent my extra time in RC re-examining it and still ended up choosing the "least awful" answer.

That said, they probably won't throw it out. We might just have a 102 question test.

There was an RC question pulled in the 40's, I think. With LG, I think you're right.

I have seen it several times from a number of PT's that I have done from Testmasters. Testmasters left the number question it would have been... skipped it and in its spot wrote that it had been pulled from the exam.

Must have been early tests then? I did almost every test if not every test post 40 I believe and have only seen LRs pulled.

As far as Lichen, I thought it was extremely straightforward. I did skip it initially but when I came back the analogy was obvious.

the way I see it it evens out...those of you that thought it was hard probably thought stained glass was easy

I don't think they will take out a question, it happens very rarely, LSAC wouldn't make a 102 question test with the intention of dropping a question. This all but confirms they are trending back towards the old days with the difficult LG easier RC and hard but doable LR.

What the heck are they going to do with that cakewalk LG exp some of us saw if that's the case?

They may use it in combination with a nasty RC or extremely difficult LR in future tests. The experimental LG section I got was very consistent with LG's from the late 50's, so I wouldn't go as far as saying they won't use it because it was relatively easy.

They don't necessarily use entire sections on one test as entire sections on another. They might take a couple of games from that section and pair them with more difficult ones from another experimental.

There was a thread linked to from 08 where people were talking about the stain glassed game on experimental for example, but conferences was never mentioned, so they probably came from different experimentals.

I agree. There was a clear answer to this question

Agree. Thought it was the hardest in the section but only one really made sense and had some basis in the passage.

I thought national parks was the vaguest question on the test, but I did finally get what I think is the right answer.

I thought it was fairly straightforward actually.

If they were to eliminate a question, I think it is most reasonable to assume that it will be pulled from one of the two LR sections, which were both 26 Q's. RC was 27 and is typically 27 or 28, and LG was also the expected 23. From what I have seen, LR usually has one section with 25 and one with 26.
