I agree this test was a bear, but I don't think the curve is guaranteed to be generous, at all. In my experience taking PTs 39-61, curves just do not correlate well with difficulty. See PT 57 - one of the toughest LSATs I've ever seen (harder than today's), with a -11 curve I believe. Also see the June 2007 LSAT (PT 51.5), with medium games but above average RC and LR, for a -8 curve. Go figure.

I am hoping for a generous curve, but really would not be shocked by -11.

Wake up --> take LSAT --> run to TLS ---> complain about LSAT difficulty --> speculate on monster curve ---> (month later) be disappointed by -10 curve

I think that a lot of people are also forgetting information that some people dub crucial to how the curve would eventually be determined. In a terrible economy, many people are seeking stronger professional jobs or attempting to stay out of the working world for longer periods of time when they would usually immediately jump into it. Now, based off of Logic I can't say that this has caused increases in the number of LSAT test takers in the last 18 months; however, I will state that the LSAT is seeing its largest numbers of test takers since the inception of the test.

With more test takers, comes more individuals who score near the mean of a bell curve and (in theory) bring down the curve. It is also hard to argue against recent trends in the LSAT curves (-9) being the lowest in the last 8 tests w/ the -9 being almost 2 years ago. I'm not saying expect -15 or -16 or that the difficulty will necessarily correlate with the curve. But, I do think it would be extremely unlikely that this curve isn't AT LEAST as forgiving as Oct 10's (-12)

None of the above....there is going to be a huge curve on the December LSAT. Get out of test mode!

This post actually scares me. I thought maybe i just struggled with pt57 but the rc was one of the hardest ever, and of course lg consisted of dinos

PT 57 LG was easier than 61's because even dinos split wide open once you made a few key deductions, and game 1,2, and 4 were relatively easy. PT 61 had a lot of plug and chug, and from what I hear, PT 62 was much worse.

Some people (such as myself) freak out when we don't see the key deductions our PS Bibles (etc.) tell us always exist and waste valuable time searching in vain.

That said, although I took a different version, I think everything tracks pretty closely, and I don't think the RC was as bad as PT 59's.

I'm guessing a curve that is both -12 AND -13 for 170.

The december lsat was tough. Does anyone know what the experimental section was. RC LR RC LG LR
