Has anyone taken the LSAT at the UCLA location?
Is there a room where we can put our bags in? Is it cold? Are there desks or tables?
Driving there tomorrow to make sure I know where it is; not sure they will let me in the room.
Thanks.

+1. can't have anything on your person except the things they explicitly tell you you can bring. so don't even bother bringing a cell phone, a bag, an ipod, nothing that can't fit in your ziploc bag

Yes, I understand the ziplock rule; already have it packed. Was just curious if there was another room perhaps that they allow for bags to stay in.
(cell phone and ink pens are staying home)

Except for not allowing cell phones, I don't get the need for that much security once you're in the room. How are you supposed to cheat exactly? Unless you manage to get a copy of the test sometime before test time, there's not much I can see someone can do to cheat. On that note, how much do you think a copy of the exam 24 hrs before exam time would go for? If it were on auction, I'd start it at around $15,000.

We decided that if LSAC were to sell one 180 a year in addition to all of the legit 180's so that you never knew which one was fake, that there are people who would pay a million for it. I imagine the test would sell for far over 15 grand

I'm also taking it at UCLA this saturday. From what I've heard, its not a good testing location because the desks are tiny (because your in a lecture hall) so you can't have your test booklet and answer sheet on your desk at the same time. Is this always the case? Anyone have any different experiences here?

the center I took my test in ( im in ny) had really small desks. You had enough room for the test and the answer sheet. I actually found it to be better b/c i had to stop at the end of each page and bubble in. Had no reason to misbubble, or forget to bubble.
if that doesnt work for you you can alwaysput the answer sheet under the test booklet and bubble it in when you are done with the section.
