I have heard rumors they only let you bring in a certain type of watch into the LSAT. Could someone get me up to speed on this?

Is it beneficial to those who have taken the LSAT and brought one in?

Also, if you have one, where did you purchase it?

no digital watches. anything electronic = misconduct. (if they catch you)

too late for december test though...

Just get a traditional analog watch and reset it to noon at the start of each section.

Amazing watch... no doubt takes away the edge of timing...

I practiced with a cheap little analog watch, but by the time the actual test day came around, I found that I was so well practiced that I didn't need to look at the watch any more, and I actually felt better when I didn't check it.

I took it with me to the test anyway and used it, but I barely looked at it during sections.

Same thing happened with me.

Can I use a watch that is analog but has a digital underlying face? I.e I have a FOSSIL watch that has an analog face but the seconds tick in digital format behind the minute and hour hands....don't really feel like buying a new watch. I've done some practices where I set a 35 minute timer and never look at it, so I'm pretty sure I can do alright even if I don't bring one in.

I just got a 10 dollar one at wal mart and sharpied 8:45 increments on it for LG and RC. Reset to noon for every section.

Contemplating buying one of these watches...dunno if it would really be of any assistance? Ive been using an admittedly pretty cheap analog watch which i used in Oct, doesnt have any numbers which is probably not good..

Good choice!
My only standard was that the face be white so I could draw in the 8:45's. And if you can set it, you can rewind it, so it should still be possible.

I got lucky and owned an analog watch with chronograph function for a while before even looking into this issue. Worked well for me.

I used a diving watch. That way you know what time it is still and you use an adjustable dial to mark your time.

Used my boyfriend's wristwatch. Nothing digital but make sure you practice with it so you're used to where the hand is at what point. I would reset it to the top of the hour before every section but I didn't have time issues so it worked for me but it's really useful to know when 35 minutes ends automatically without having to figure it out.
