I have trouble seeing how the premises relate to the conclusion. The conclusion just seems to be kind of disconnected from the rest of the stimulus.

I narrowed the choices down to (B) and (E) by process of elimination but don't know exactly why the correct answer is (E). Anyone care to explain?
