Can I postpone Feb LSAT to June??

Hi
I am signed up for Feb LSAT, but I don't think I am ready so I want to postpone it to June 2011.
But when I try to postpone on the LSAC website, they don't have the dates for the 2011 June exam yet...
Do I have to cancel my Feb LSAT? or will i be able to postpone my test to June later??
Thanks!!

I asked them this a few weeks ago. You can, but you won't be able to until 2011. I'm sure you've looked online and Feb is the last date available; it will change in the new year before the test.

Yes, this happened to me too last year. You will definitely be able to change it. You'll just have to wait a little. Good luck!

I have to admit that before I asked I was freaking out as well. I'm in not shape to take it in February.

I was just wondering the same thing bc there is no way I am ready right now for the feb test. I called the center three times and was given three different answers. (1) registration for the June test will be ava. mid-dec; (2) registration for the June test will be ava. after the first of the year; and (3) cancel now and receive a partial refund, then wait till the registration for the June test becomes ava.
Not sure what to make of it.

Sadly, LSAC doesn't let people from this cycle postpone to the next cycle. (Cycles run from June - Feb, so June 2011 is the start of a new cycle.)
Answer (3) is the most relevant to the OP.
If you want to take in June and are registered for Feb, it'd be best to withdraw your registration for a partial refund, then separately register for June when registration opens.

It's strange that we all got different answers. I still want to believe the answer I received in an email. It couldn't hurt to wait until the beginning of January before withdrawing right?
Edit: I just checked my test registration and it says I have until 1/23/2011 to change my test date. This would lead me to assume you can postpone.

I definitely postponed last year to this year's cycle, so unless they changed something recently, you should be able to.

I believe I read something once were somebody postponed their test date for two years because they constantly felt unprepared. I also have a date change deadline on my LSAT account under my LSAT status so I don't see why we would not be able to postpone until June when the regular registration begins for June .I would appreciate anybody else chiming in who has useful knowledge on this subject.

Looks like I was told incorrectly as well. Sorry for the confusion.
Just spent some time hunting around their website and found this:
http://lsac.org/jd/LSAT/test-date-cente ... ate_change
You may request a change to another date within the current testing year, which runs from June 2010 through February 2011 (if registered for a February 2011 exam, you may change to the next testing year).

I actually just called and spoke to them literally one minute ago. The lady said that the registration would open up and we would be able to postpone when all registration begins at the beginning of January 2011.

Yes you can, just goto your lsac acct and make sure you do it before 23rd jan.
registrations are done in yearly cycles and 2011 cycle is open now. hope that helps relieve the anxiety. take a deep breath you got almost 6 months to D-Day 6th june.

I'm thinking October will be better for me than June. More time over the summer to practice after my PS prep class.
