I was happy to have 6 minutes left when I got to the 4th game. Sadly, I didn't get very far. How do you set this one up? What's the key?
Note: I don't have the Superprep book, so please no one say, "Read the explanations" like the folks in the other Superprep thread I just bumped.

Only two possibilities exist for her selection of furniture: FHST or HSTV. In the FHST scenario, F & T can only be both maple or both pine. So I set it up as three basic scenarios; FHST maple, FHST pine, and HSTV. This is a really hard game section, one of the hardest ever, I think.

Pretty sure that's SP B, not SP C.
I did SP B last week, and that game was relatively easy. Finished it in 7 minutes. Game 3 (the circular game) was a bitch, though.
Game 4 in SP C (I thought it was also furniture) is the one I could not solve.

Also, couples around the table in Superprep B.

Is that the Ziggurat, Xavier, Whisper, Volante game? Deceptively simple game, just the two key rules are worded in a really unhelpful way.
Neither V nor W can go after an X? Well, neither can an X. So what can possibly go after an X? Only a Z. So, XZ go in consecutive years in year 1 and 2 in whatever factory they end up in, though W might go in another factory as well. Same for the other similar rule, it establishes a ZW block for consecutive years. The factories are all interchangable, it doesn't make any difference where the cars are made, just that they are all made at least once and one of them is made twice. Only V or W could be made twice in the first two years, and X can only be made twice in the third year (otherwise Z would follow it twice which is precluded by the rules).
