you probably wont see a rare game type. You may see a hybrid of some easier games Practice with games in prep tests 28-39, and 52-61

prediction (not in order of appearance or anything):

(1) pure sequencing (fairly straightfoward, maybe with the some weird conditional rules to throw people off)

(2) a 2 by 3 grid (with 2 groups of three, 3 groups of two, which 6 variables being a member of one of two of each pair of groups)... the last game of 60, i.e. interns, comes to mind. Those seem more common lately.

(3) one game (linear/adv linear) with either too many letters to fill all the slots either or too few letters to fill all the slots, or perhaps with some sort of 'moving' grid (i.e. there could be four guys in slot 1 but there could also be two, slot three has a minimum of three guys, etc etc)

(4) one fairly straightforward game (who knows what type and what does it matter.. it's be straightforward).


Sidenote: throw in a dual option setup in one or two of these and I think it's pretty much it.

Why'd the LSAT take away pattern games anyway?

I really like those and am good at them.

I hope we see one in December.

But it's unlikely. Circular games, mapping games (OMG! NO!!), and pattern games are in the dustbin of history.

My guess would be 1 pure sequencing, 1 grouping, 1 in and out, and 1 hybrid, possibly matching and ordering. Last december had 2 in and outs an ordering and matching, so probably something along those lines.

Why do you think you can predict the games on the Dec LSAT?

By definition, your odds of seeing a rare game type on any given LSAT is low.

I don't know I think we are due for a Circular sequencing game this time around...

Don't these rare games pop up every 5 years or something? Though I never actually looked it up to confirm, my Kaplan course teacher said based on the pattern of how rare games were given in the past, one is due soon...

Bring it on. I'm good at the weird games--dinos, circles, mulch, zephyr airlines, mapping--but bad at plain Jane advanced linear games that require lots of plug and play.
