Hey guys,
PT 54 S4 Q21
I haven't found a good explanation why C is the answer. Even on atlastLSAT/manhattanLsat.
Does anyone have a good explanation? Thanks

A little thought experiment will help demonstrate the way this answer works. Let's say there are two witnesses, A and B. They both witness the crime and remember 50% of the details. Person A is affected by misleading questioning while person B is completely unaffected by the way questions are presented.
Lawyer 1 questions them and tries to phrase his questions in a way which decreases accuracy.
A is affected, gets 20% of the details wrong due to the questioning, so his initial testimony is 30% accurate.
B is unaffected and his testimony is 50% accurate.
Lawyer 2 questions them and tries to phrase his questions in a way which increases accuracy.
A is affected, gets 20% of the details correct due to the questioning, so his testimony in the cross examination is 70% accurate.
B is unaffected and his testimony remains 50% accurate.
So, you can see how B was more accurate initially but less accurate in cross examination because he was less influenced by the nature of the questioning than A.
