One of the new question types wasn't really new, it was just really awkward:
Which one of the following statements is most supported
by the information above?

The newer question type was:
In the analogy drawn in the argument above, which one
of the following corresponds to a [...]?

That's all I remember at the moment.

Despite the fact that I was one of the people screaming about new question types after the test when I looked over the section there wasn't anything new at all. It was a difficult section to be sure, and a little bit different wording in the question stems for example 'which of the following is most appropriate as an analogy demonstrating that the reasoning in the argument is flawed' I hadn't seen that before and it threw me but really its the same stuff.

So is that a flawed parallel reasoning question? or something else?

Yes its no different than a flawed parallel reasoning except it put all the answer choices in the form of an analogy. They all started with "by that line of reasoning we could conclude that..." and the correct answer choice followed with an analogy demonstrating the flaw in the stimulus. Same logic, shouldn't have thrown me.

The swordfight was a slightly modified question type.

I got that one wrong.

Former seems to be an inference/must be true

The latter seems to be method of reasoning or role of statement. Or parallel.
