Should I retake?

Post by athenian » Mon Nov 01, 2010 11:32 am

I've got a 2.93 LSDAS GPA and just scored a 169 on the October test.

I've got great softs and a little bit of work experience, but with how low my GPA is, the LSAT is extremely vital to my admissions chances.

Right now I'm targeting UGA, Davis, ASU, BC, GW, Emory, and UMN

Should I retake and try and get higher than the 169 in hopes of going to a better school, or should I be content with my chances and just focus on making my personal statement stand out?

No one can answer this question without knowing what score you were PT'ing... If you really feel like you could improve 3-5 points, then go for it. But if you weren't getting much higher with your PTs, then you might want to stick with your current score.
