I think you can only take it 3 times in 2 years, so you might have to wait till september 2011? I'm not exactly sure how they measure the 2 year mark. Do you know if is 2 years from 2009, or 2 years from september 2009?
Or you could get a school to contact lsac and give you special permission, but I don't know many law schools that will do that

CRAP. I didn't think of that. Will be contacting schools then!

What's the exact rule on this? Any link? I'm looking to retake (3rd attempt) but want to be clear on my options. Couldn't find a reference on LSAC website...

Limitations on Test Taking
Normally, you may not take the LSAT more than three times in any two-year period. This policy applies even if you cancel your score or it is not otherwise reported. LSAC reserves the right to cancel your registration, rescind your admission ticket, or take any other steps necessary to enforce this policy. However, you may retake the LSAT if a law school to which you are applying requires a more recent score than any you have on record or approves your retaking the test, and the school provides LSAC with written proof of its requirements or approval no later than the last day of registration for the test.

I am curious about the 2 year period though. Is it 2 years from the date of your first test? If so, what if you took it September 5th and two years later and 2 more tries later, the test was offered on September 3rd. Hypothetically, would you wait until the December testing?

From LSAT Blog
Score cancellations count towards the no-more-than-3-LSATs-per-2-years-rule, while absences don't.
I recently emailed LSAC to double-check this. LSAC replied, "An absentee does not count as one of the three times that you can take the test in the two year period."

It's two years from the first test you took. I know, trust me.
