I was about to cancel a 172 right after I took the LSAT on the 9th thinking I bombed it and got something in the low 150s.

I was about to click "cancel" on my LSAC account on the evening of the test. I decided not to. You aren't nearly as stupid as I am; I got a 179, almost canceled 1 minute after the test, and didn't even end up posting a topic to brag about it!

According to my TestMasters instructor, Robyn Signh (head of TM) cancelled his first LSAT back when the 48 point system was in place. The LSAC was subpoenaed in one of the many TM lawsuits for Robyn's complete LSAT score history. The LSAC included his first LSAT in the production. Apparently, he got a perfect score on his cancelled test.
