When to retake?

Like many people on this board, I bombed the October LSAT with 162, the same as my cold diagnostic test that I took with Princeton Review under simulated test conditions.
Unfortunately, I took the overseas test, so I have no idea what went wrong or if it's even my fault (or a scantron error).
My options are to take another undisclosed test in December/February, or wait until next June when I can spend a few weeks back in the U.S.
To those who have retaken the LSAT before: Was being able to see where you went wrong helpful at all in preparing for the next time?
