On the Oct. test, I guessed on about 10 answers. Most were the "out of time, uneducated guess type." How about you?

I never guessed, I do have about 3-4 educated guesses and another Q that even though i interpreted a rule wrong could still be right.

All on 3 LR sections: 3 guesses + 3 educated guesses, so 6.

OP, did you usually finish sections on time when practicing? If yes, then why do you think you struggled on test day? Wondering cause I'm taking in December.

No guesses, just a couple of estimated answers that were normally 60/40 or better.

4 on RC, none anywhere else...

...unless you mean narrowed down to two. Then lol probably in the double digits.

If guessing is defined as not knowing exactly which answer is right of two... let's just not even go there.

1 RC 3 LG
Heard 2 of my 3 LG were right by a stroke of luck, and the RC was an educated guess so hoping for the best but doubtful.

3 on LG. 1 LG educated guess.

Did not have time to bubble in "B" on the last RC #27 (on the overseas test). Otherwise, none.

So between 4-5.

Yes, and yes the time limit was my major hold up on test day.

Had to make 2 blind guesses on 21 and 22 of LG. Two Q's from the last RC passage i pretty much just picked an answer and prob got them wrong, and one LR i just picked one and am sure I got it wrong. Other than that I got a 180

I'm pretty sure that everyone who posted on this topic (except for myself) got a 180. There were about 20-25 that I wasn't sure were right. Of those, about 10 or so were arbitrarily answered.

I wouldn't go that far, just because someone is sure of an answer doesn't mean they are right. How many you guess on is only really an indicator of how high your potential score can be assuming you miss only those you guess on, otherwise it is pretty useless.

But being unsure of 20-25 is never a good sign.

Yes, and yes the time limit was my major hold up on test day.
Okay, but if you usually finished on time during practice, why do you think you had problems managing time on test day?

Had no problem finishing on time during the PTs. First section of the test, LR (which was by far the easiest to finish on time during PTs) and I didn't get to the last 3 and had to guess. All the rest of the sections I finished on time with no problem, so I'm guessing I just had test-day nerves on the first section but was fine after that.

The thing that scares me is I felt VERY VERY sure about the RC and LR answers I did have. This either means i probably missed very few, or I missed a bunch. Im leaning towards a few but we will see.
