It varies a large deal, but I make it a point to study a minimum of three hours everyday for the LSAT. This is my final semester, I have three guaranteed A classes and two more than likely B+ courses, so I'm not really concerned about keeping on top of school work as the LSAT is my more pressing issue.

Since the October administration has passed, I am not studying anymore, but when I was, I usually went 3-4 hours per day, about 5 days per week. Time of day varied, but I tried to avoid studying past 5 o'clock in the evening. I mostly studied at home, libraries, empty classrooms, and coffeehouses. I usually went to bed around midnight and woke around 8 or 9 (okay, fine- 10). As far as the gym goes, I'm guessing I averaged 2 times per week, maybe even a bit less, for the months of study. Regarding breaks, I took A LOT of breaks. I don't like doing long stretches, so unless I was taking a preptest, I took a 15-30 minute break after every hour of study.

I started studying in March for the October 2010 admin.; I think I received a 159 on my diagnostic, and by the 1st of October, was scoring anywhere between 171-180, with the last 5 preptests averaging 174. Oh, and I also took a prep course (BP).

For me

Wake: 6 am
Run/Gym: 6:45-8
Class: 8:30 - 12
Work: 12:30-5:30
LSAT: 7-11

Do it all over again

Note: I only did LSAT 3 nights during the week so friday night I went out with friends and wednesday night I would usually just watch tv. Weekends varied.

I took a powerscore class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9; this helped me at least stay on track study wise and motivate me to study during the rest of the week. On all other week days I worked 9-5, so I would do stuff during my lunch break and then during commercials of my tv shows until midnight at home. On the weekend I did nothing but LSAT and clean :P

I'm working full-time, and it luckily requires little of my attention. I study 3-4 hours during business hours (running through bibles in the morning and then doing timed sets of 4 LGs in the afternoon). Once 5 pm hits, I go home and relax. On weekends, I'll work out in the mornings, PT on Saturdays, review PT on Sundays.

So, on average:

Studying - 17 hours/week

PT and Review - 5-6 hours/week

Workout - 2 hours/week

12AM-3AM: LSAT Class (online)
330AM: Come home, shower, collapse into bed

Sundays

12PM: Wake up
12PM-c. 3PM: Lunch
3PM-5PM: TLS, Youtube, you know the usual
5PM-10PM: Study*+
10PM: Come home, have dinner, watch some TV
1AM: Go to bed

*Study Schedule:
M/T: PrepTest Review, Drills, Conceptual review
W: PrepTest then grade (then break for the night)
R/F: PrepTest Review, Drills, Conceptual review
S: LSAT Class homework, and more of the same
Sun: PrepTest then grade (then break for the day)

+This could be cut short if I decide to go out that evening.

I probably spend a good 40 hours a week on LSAT prep, but I'm at most at 75% efficiency (yes I pulled that number out of my ass), so I could probably get away with spending 10 hours less. That's the schedule I have in my iCal, but of course it's always subject to change without notice.

February 13th, 2011: Take the LSAT, do nothing
March 8th, 2011: Check email for score, then 1) lock self in the bathroom with tub of ice cream and cry self to sleep (if 169 or below), or 2) run to Costco, buy champagne and get piss drunk (if 170 and above)
March 9th, 2011: if 1)-start prepping for June LSAT, if 2) do nothing until June LSAT
After June LSAT: start working on essay and apps and stuff

How horrible and twisted is this? If there is ever one reason why I'd score a 120 on the LSAT and my GPA plummets down to a 1.0, this will be the reason!

That's Facebook, TLS, and other sundry online time wastage put together.

You're like my girlfriend. I get so tired during the day that even sex once a night is an effort. 4 times a week is prime anything more then that is meh

Very well put. Although I do concede to TLS being time consuming, at least it's not a waste of a brain.
