This test...is it a signal?

So far it's been confirmed that this test does indeed have new features.
First of all, people have received LG sections in different order!
Also it seems LR section is veering towards more nonconventional questions (at least imo).
Is this LG section mixup going to become a pattern in the future? I hope it isn't!

What you are talking about...do we know it?
No.

It really wasn't that much different, except for the new "feats of strength and valor" at the end.
I didn't even prep for that. People are going to have to start taking fencing lessons.

They always are...i dont think there's too many tests where everything is the same. Maybe every 2 tests are quite similar in theme, but they switch it up

Did you guys have to do battle in the Octagon? Or was that an experimental section?

They are trying out different arena shapes. I had to do battle in the Dodecagon.

Only thing I saw differently was the Shakespeare question. Seemed more like testing ability to use common sense rather than normal LR questions whose answers are determined exactly from the question stem.

I think they are definately changing LR a bit to stay ahead of prep companies.

Wow no one is concerned about the different ordering of LG between different tests?
I'm shocked! I thought TLS would be anal about it...

Don't forget the bacteria question. I haven't seen every PT, but I've seen a lot, and don't recall seeing anything like that before.

I thought the games were all of about uniform difficulty. Don't think it really would have mattered to tinker with the order.

Remember the last time there was a significant change on the LSAT?
The test where they introduced comparative passages?
....-8 curve.
I'm expecting -9 curve for this test now.

I had to battle in the Dodecahedron. Screw going to an engineering school for UG, they always find a way to make it tricky

Ya, battling that final boss was a bitch. Took me 3 tries.

Are you dense?!?! Of course it's a new era for the lsat! Here is a video I took of the 6th section:

Edit: but seriously, I don't think anything was different...save for a repeat LR stimulus. I must be missing something b/c I didn't think any of the games or the LR were particularly challenging.

That's true, I haven't seen any questions like these two in any previous test.. it would certainly seem that this test did implement a few slight changes.

I think LSAC is trying to counter all the prep companies and people who prepared at least partially. Or... they just hired a new psychometrician.

Get used to it. I hear they have to jump you in at Harvard now.

Finals for Civil Procedure are an issue spotter and a time trial to defeat your professor.

lol...What's there to really talk about. How does the order of logic games change anything? How do one or two mildly tricky LR problems distinguish this test from any other?

This post single handedly destroyed any composure I'd managed to regain post first day of test TLS browsing, haha.
I felt punished for preparing, s'all I'm gonna say.

I don't really know how to articulate it. I'm sure most of my feelings towards this test stem from the uncertainty after it and the waiting period, not from my reaction to the test itself. This waiting period makes me think this test is a beast from hell designed to eat my brain and spit it out and leave me with a weird deflated head.
I know that makes no sense, but it's just how I feel, k.
