Besides copious consumption of alcoholic beverages, that is.
Time to turn my attention back to my stupid Personal Statement, I guess. How I loathe it.
(Well, and work. I'm 8 years out of UG.)

Working on personal statements and applications for the next ten days.
After that, two midterms and a philosophy paper and a French presentation and working on my senior thesis. College has a way of keeping us occupied.
Hopefully my residents will get up to something crazy that will distract me from everything else that is going on.

Just went to my first food not bombs soup kitchen. Gonna volunteer there every Sunday now.
Fun people, legit food.
Also, I'm with Adjudicator on "posting on this site."

I cannot speak for the organization as a whole with any certainty, but it seems to be fairly "healthy food, pacifist" stuff.
The one in my city was mostly vegan food with one vegetarian (eggs as an ingredient) option. All really delicious, and nice young people running it who compost & recycle. Never been to another soup kitchen, so I have no idea what others are like, but this does fund raisers with local bands & seems to be mostly driven by younger folk.
I went because my friend invited me. He's trying to take it seriously & establish it as good for the community before they start getting into any political stuff.

Finding a job, definitely.
I live in one of the most science-oriented midsize cities in the country and I can't find a job with a freaking bachelor's in chem. (And I'm not holding my breath for a job that fits my graduate music degree...)
Also, waking up after 8.
I get my wisdom teeth out on the 18th so that's at least 12 hours where I'm completely loopy and not worrying about my score...

I thought Nov. 1 was the target date?
I neglected my school work for the past week so I will be catching up and preparing for midterms. I also went out and got Civ 5 which has already eaten about 15 hours post test.. haha.
I'm already sick with anticipation waiting for the damn scores.

Since I had midterms last week, my university gives us the week to "recover" haha. So one week I'll be focusing on working and making money to pay off my excessive CC bill of my law school applications, relaxing and wedding stuff (all my apps are in and are just waiting for my LSAT score). Then the last two weeks im going to be busy with my lovely 18 credits of senior year. ha
