Misconduct Report Without Verbal Warning?

So as we were turning in our tests yesterday, the proctors kept whispering to each other and pointing at me. At the end the proctor said to me, you need to stay and fill out some additional paperwork. I was shitting in my pants and couldn't think what I did wrong? Maybe have the pencil in my hand when they called time but I wasn't bubbling.

Turns out I forgot to write my name on my scantron sheet. They didn't give me any verbal warning or any corresponding written warning? If I had done something wrong, they would have told me? Anything to worry about? I don't want to lose sleep over this for the next few weeks.

My theory is that my proctor just wanted me to shit in my pants. Mission accomplished haha.

I cannot really answer that, however, i am sure if you forgot to write your name that is not misconduct. In fact, i asked my proctor three or four questions to make sure i had signed my name in the right parts of the exam.

Don't worry. During my testing the girl in front of me wrote her name on her scantron but forgot to bubble it in. They came up to her after the writing section and simply had her fill it in. No problems, just an embarrassed 'thank you' on her part. No warnings verbal or written. You should be fine.

i think having the pencil in my hand after they called time was my cause of concern.

Ah, I see now. I don't have any good advice. My proctors were really relaxed and basically let us do anything we wanted within reason. There was an exodus of us who were excused to use the restroom, more than one at a time, one last time between checking in and the start of Section 1.

All I can say is hope for the best and assume that if it were a misconduct they would have informed you of it. They may have simply been huddled over a seating chart trying to figure out which person you were so that they could have you finish writing your name. :D

I still think you'll be fine. Good luck.
