December 2010 Prep!

Post by tazmolover » Sat Oct 09, 2010 8:18 pm

May be early but might as well get started.

I'm retaking after I bombed one section on this October test.

I want to solidify myself on LGs and LR while trying to make real headway into RC for the first time.

I never took RC prep seriously because it was so hard to prep for. Just doing passages and review wasn't enough.

I plan on reading newspapers/magazines daily now.

Does anyone have a list of newspapers and magazines that would most prepare me to jump from a -3 to -5 to a -1 to -2 by December?

how are people going to study for this retake when they've already taken almost all of the PT's?

I haven't. I've taken most of the new ones but there are still plenty within the older ones that can help me out.

Also at this point it's more out tweaking the finer points...especially in LG - it's all about perfection.

LR is really a toss up it seems. Some sections -0 some -4. I'll focus on why I get questions wrong and try to rewire my brain to see answers more quickly.
