I took Princeton Review for my LSAT prep. My instructor told the class that Kaplan doesn't use actual questions from the LSAT. He said that they make their own questions which are similar to official LSAT questions.

Anyone know if this is true?

I took a Kaplan course, and all their questions are from past exams.

I took Kaplan and then I taught for them for a year. That is absolutely not true!

In my six years teaching LSAT for Kaplan, we've been using real questions in the course the whole time. It's amazing how long myths and rumors will persist.

It's not a myth per se. Rather, the PR instructor was merely trying to knock all the other testing companies.

During my Kaplan prep, my instructor told me not to use Powerscore because they were formerly Kaplan tutor's and therefore had identical material. It's a zany world we live in.
