Sufficient or Necessary Assumption?

Just ran across a question stem that asks, "Which one of the following is an assumption the argument requires in order for its conclusion to be properly drawn?"

Is this a necessary assumption or a sufficient assumption ("Justify the Conclusion") question?

Even though in this question, the distinction doesn't really matter (there's only one feasible answer choice either way), I just wanted to clarify in case there are situations where the distinction between the two would be the key to determining which is correct among two choices.

Thanks!

"Requires" is an indicator of a necessary assumption. Words like "depends" and "requires" always indicate necessary.
