No room to diagram LGs

A trend I've plainly noticed in PTs 56 and 57 is for them to give you little to no room to draw a diagram for the 4th logic game. For those of you who've been able to brush this obstacle off, what do you do? Do you simply write in the margins? Or do you save some space from the 3rd game?

Ive noticed this as well. It cost me a point on LG #4 on 57 because my diagram got squeezed and I ended up writing the wrong letter.

Whatever though. Just try to work along the bottom and the top.

I just write as small as I possibly can without compromising legibility.

I thought of using space from the previous page, but I'm afraid that might confuse me. I don't want to risk accidentally adopting a rule.

It seems like a fairly cheap way to handicap test-takers, doesn't it? The banning of pens is already a convoluted way to add artificial difficulty to the test.
