PT 54, 55, 59, and 60 left...

Post by ohhenry » Thu Sep 30, 2010 10:07 pm

If this were you, what order and when would you take these leading up to Oct. 9th(not including tonight)?

Note: I already took PT60 on June 10th (bombed it), haven't seen it since.
I work from 9-6pm on weekdays. So I'm freshest mentally on the weekends.
I'd like to take the 4th one weds.
Last 8 PT's have been in the 158-163 range if that's relevant.

Thanks!

So, it looks like it's between 59 and 60 for Sat, the only thing I vaguely remember from 60 are the last two games in LG. Another one on sunday, then Monday, and finally weds(which would be which ever I didn't take on sat). Any time in between will be spent doing previous 35min LG sections. The only thing I don't like is that I would be doing 3 tests in a row.
My review time for tests takes quite a while so on sat and sun I'll have to suck it up and review those tests the same day I take them.

Thanks for the input, I feel like I turned this into some sort of bizarre logic game. I can't wait to be done with this!!!

Why do so many people suggest doing nothing the night before? Is it really that unadvisable? I like to have my brain in LSAT mode and I feel like that hard with a day off. I've seldom taken days off since commencing the tedious studying. Am I really worse off taking a practice test the day before? Perhaps I could see the argument for this as your confidence might lend itself as the most vulnerable to this situation. Put time drills? These are safe?

im going to do some work the night before, ( a section in rc, one of each of the game types, and a lr section) but im going to call it quits by 6pm and watch a movie. You dont want to overwork it the night before game day. You know what works for you best. For me, a quick reassurance that im going to do well is alll i need the night before.

My fear is that a quick reassurance the night before could lead to an even quicker panic the night before when I screw up on a question. So I'm doing absolutely nothing on Friday except picking a game out that I've done and know I'll do well on.. like a Pure Sequencing or something.. and then I plan on doing that the morning of the test just to remind myself why I woke up so early.
