The new GRE

Maybe this has already been discussed before (advanced search is down blah), but doesn't it sound like the new GRE is trying to be like the LSAT? Among other things, ETS is changing the GRE's scoring scale to one that is from 130-170, and doing away with the analogies section.

The GRE is an awful test. Something like 1/3 of the verbal reasoning section is just straight vocabulary. Apparently there used to be LSAT style logic games on it though.

There used to be a logic section. The math section is a lot easier than the analogies though.

The vocab questions are a royal pain in the ass.
