PTs Steadily decreasing...what is happening?

PTs thus far:

A: 159
B: 165
C: 169
45: 167
46: 166
47: 161

I've been reviewing all the questions and typing out explanations for those I get wrong. I feel like the harder I review the less I do. Today might have been due to concentration issues, but I'm really feeling like I have nothing to show for the past two months of studying. I'm trying to shoot for 170+, and I'm trying to determine at this point whether I'd be better off taking this thing in December.

Fluctuations are perfectly normal. Take a day or two off to clear your head and get right back in the game.

Yeah, it seems to me looking at those numbers that 166 is pretty close to normal for you and the initial 169 was an outlier. Just be sure to take a bunch more PTs in this last month and to review all your wrong answers and difficult questions in order to boost your consistency. There is no reason to be worried if you've only taken six tests. If you've taken 15-20 and are still fluctuating10+ points then we can reconsider what you might be doing wrong.

Tests get harder as you shift from the Superpreps and 30's to the 40s and 50's.

Take some time off. If you were scoring well at one point chances are you can keep in that range. Just rest up. Youre in a good spot right now.

Good luck!

Recently finished my first 10 PTs (Next 10) and they varied greatly: low of 153 and high of 166, averaging 161. I'm aiming for 170 and taking in Dec. since there is no way I can get that (if at all) by Oct.
